The Western Intercollegiate is the longest running college golf tournament dating back to 1947.

All 92 players are competing for the Western Intercollegiate's Blue Jacket, awarded to the person with the lowest individual score. He became Pepperdine's third Western individual champion, and second straight, following his teammate Joe Highsmith who won in 2021.
