Stanford Captures 12th Western Intercollegiate Title
SANTA CRUZ, Calif — The Stanford Cardinal takes home the crown after winning the 77th Western Intercollegiate, presented by Titleist, after firing a final-round team score of 349 (-1) and a three-day total of 1,058 (+8). It is Stanford’s 12th title, tying San José State for most all time, and their first since 2019.
Filip Jakubcik of Arizona took home the blue letterman jacket after winning the individual title. He shot a 70 (E) in the final round and a three-day score of 206 (-4) for the week. Jakubcik is the first individual champion for Arizona.
Justin Hastings (San Diego State), Tommy Morrison (Texas) and Sampson Zheng (California) each shot the low round of the day, each firing off a 66 (-4).
California had the low team round of the day with a team score of 344 (-6).
