For the fourth time in the past five years, the 76th Western Intercollegiate presented by Titleist, hosted by San José State University, will be televised nationally for three consecutive days by the GOLF Channel with three hours of live coverage starting on Monday, April 19 at 4:00 p.m. (PT), continuing on Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. (PT) and concluding Wednesday, April 12 at 1:00 p.m. (PT) from the Pasatiempo Golf Club in Santa Cruz, Calif.

The Western Intercollegiate is the longest running college golf tournament dating back to 1947.

Fourteen teams and 92 total players will compete for top honors on the par 70, 6,614-yard Alister MacKenzie designed course. Teams consist of six players with the best five scores from each 18 holes of play counting to the team total.

San José State, with 12 Western Intercollegiate team championships, welcomes Arizona, BYU, Cal, Colorado State, Hawai'i, Oregon, Pepperdine, San Diego State, Stanford, UC Irvine, UNLV, USC and Washington to the 76th Western Intercollegiate.

All 92 players are competing for the Western Intercollegiate's Blue Jacket, awarded to the person with the lowest individual score. In 2022, Pepperdine's Dylan Menante won the traditional blue jacket after shooting a final-round 67 (-3) for a 1-under 209 tournament total. He became Pepperdine's third Western individual champion, and second straight, following his teammate Joe Highsmith who won in 2021.

Many to play in a Western Intercollegiate go on to play professionally. Past players account for 550 PGA Tour victories including 50 "major championships." 14 Western Intercollegiate alumni will be participating in this year's Masters.
